We sell & service manufactured modular homes.
At Brookswood Homes, we sell manufactured and modular homes built by Moduline Industries in Penticton, BC, for families and individuals across British Columbia’s Lower Mainland and Fraser Valley, and we back every home with service and support long after the sale is done.
Our display homes and dealership are located at 31806 Marshall Rd in Abbotsford, and from there our team works with buyers throughout the surrounding communities to find the right floor plan, choose finishes, and get a new home site and set up on its lot. Whether you are planning a full-time residence or a smaller recreational retreat, we would love to help you bring the home you envision to life.
Our home base is Abbotsford, and we regularly sell and service homes in the communities around us. Here is a closer look at each area we serve and what buyers there should know.
We know that every one of these communities has its own character, and we treat every homeowner’s project as its own project, not a copy of the one before it.
These nine communities are our core service area, but we welcome inquiries from buyers from other parts of the province. Contact our team, and we will let you know what is possible for your location.
Yes. Our display homes are set up at our Abbotsford location, and buyers from any of the communities we serve are welcome to walk through them before deciding.
In almost every case, yes. Each municipality in our service area has its own permitting process for manufactured and modular homes, and we recommend confirming requirements with your local building department early. Our team can help you understand what documentation you will need along the way.
Manufactured homes are built to the CSA Z240 code and are designed to be transported as complete units on a steel frame. Stand-alone building code, subject to 3rd party inspection, requires meeting current energy efficiency standards for full-time occupancy. While modular homes are built to the CSA A277 code, requires homes to be built to current BC Building Code, subject to 3rd party inspection, for full-time occupancy. We offer both our Cornerstone modular line and single-, double-, and triple-wide manufactured floor plans. Park Models CSA Z241 are built on a steel frame, maximum 50 square meters, 50 Amp service, subject to 3rd party inspection, not recognized in the BC Building Code for full-time occupancy.
BC Ferries no longer transports homes to the Sunshine Coast, Vancouver Island or Powell River. All homes must be barged. We will walk you through how all this works for transporting to these areas.
Yes. We service everything we sell, no matter which of our communities your home is in, so support does not end once your home is set up.
